SINGAPORE, THURSDAY 30 JULY 2026– A delegation from the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), comprising of senior officers from the Criminal Investigation Department and Criminal Intelligence Department, conducted a working visit to the INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation (IGCI) in Singapore.
The RBPF delegation was welcomed by Dr Neal Jetton, Director Cybercrime, Executive Directorate Investigation Support and provided an opportunity to follow up on IGCI’s assistance in supporting current and future criminal investigations and intelligence gathering. Through its Cyber Fusion Centre (CFC), IGCI shared its expertise in tracking digital footprints and presented relevant best practices, providing the RBPF with additional avenues to strengthen its investigative capabilities and strategies.
Key discussions focused on transnational crime challenges, international law enforcement cooperation, and the legal frameworks required to effectively address cross-border investigations. The RBPF delegation also visited the Cyber Fusion Centre (CFC) and the Command and Coordination Centre (CCC), gaining valuable firsthand insight into IGCI’s operational capabilities and the support available to INTERPOL member countries.
The visit reaffirmed the strong cooperation between the Royal Brunei Police Force and INTERPOL and further strengthened opportunities for training, capacity building, intelligence sharing, and operational support in regional and international investigations.
The RBPF remains committed to strengthening its international law enforcement partnerships and enhancing its capabilities to address evolving transnational and technology-enabled criminal threats.
